Riddle #10

I have no top nor bottom, or so I am told

Crumbling and cracking, I may come to look quite strange

Starting a New Blog!!!

Ok, I've been trying to think of an interesting/fun project for myself that I may actually continue over a period of time and I came up with this! Everyday I will have to post a new riddle and people can guess the answer in the comments. Heh heh, we'll see how long this lasts. I think, initially, I will just message the answer to those who want to know, as to not ruin the fun for everyone else.

You may be wondering "Why riddles Rachel?" Well... anyone who really knows me may know the answer. I love riddles! Ever since reading The Hobbit as a child, maybe even earlier, I've really had a passion for solving/ writing riddles. A passion I had more or less forgotten about until I watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and started writing them again -cough- super nerd -cough- .......

Anyways! Here is a little something I wrote this week ; )

Holds knowledge deep within
Leaving hints of it upon its skin
When you first meet you should break its back
This may seem cruel but it is a well known fact
